Night skiing with Cam ....

Last night the boys went night skiing - from 5 - 7. I cooked. They had a wild time apparently
little nook in Yama Shizen where we are staying

weird cloud formation over the mountain

  1. HI Meg from Rob and Nic. It looks like you are having a great time and that you have had great weather. Great that Cam seems to have settled into the new life as ski instructor. Lessie has re-qualified as level 1 and this week is doing avalanche training. We sense she is a little bored at the hotel as there isn't that much to do except hang out - at least the wifi seems to work. She has skyed a few days and seems very relaxed, although she did mention she had trouble sleeping last night because she had a bruised rib. She has also been clocked at 95kmh on skis which we tend to think sounds dangerous - bloody neurotic parents. One of her new friends broke his collar bone yesterday - 6 weeks off the snow. Not a good outcome as he may have to come home - imagine what a disappointment that would be! Anyway, it will be interesting for us when we arrive and get to meet the equivalent of Ludicrous and Alex! We leave in a couple of days and hopefully plenty of snow falls soon! Keep having fun and looking forward to seeing you when we get back. Rob

  2. Thanks Rob. Yes Cam has an app that measures his speeds and he has been clocked at 89.2km. Paddy and Tom hit 71 last night. I think for Cam the house whilst crowded gives some options and the NAC activity centre is just cool - with a climbing wall etc. Yes the snow just keeps falling - v japanese. Lots to learn including how you cope with a mix of levels in classes; etc. Lots of life lessons ....
